In 2019, our team was invited to organise a series of events at the Museum of Islamic Art dedicated to the Year of Cultural exchange between India and Qatar. We were honored to put together a three day long multimedia Exhibition “Tradition, Craft and Sustainability: A Path to Timeless Beauty”.
The Exhibition featured symposia, film screenings, and a market for ethical textile and fashion brands

We are very grateful to our dedicated partners from QM, DFI, MOC and to a strong commitment of all contributors, who provided so much support to make this exhibition happen:

Tania Al-Majid, Associate Curator of the National Museum of Qatar
Pavitra Muddaya, Head of Vimor Foundation
Dr Jelena Trkulja, Director of Education at QM

HE Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani,

With this Exhibition our team attempted to raise awareness about fundamental responsibilities of contemporary designers, producers and consumers, such as a sensitive approach to sourcing of raw materials and managing the waste, supporting traditional crafts through conscious product design, and ethical trade practices.
