How the most challenged members of society are treated surely provides a measuring stick to our level of humanity. Inclusive Craft Atelier is an initiative our team is undertaking in Doha, based on the successful experience with a similar programme in St Petersburg, Russia.

In 2021, we aim to launch a Craft Atelier for people with special needs to produce practical craft products from clay, textile, paper, paint and more. By working together with local artists and craftsmen, members of the atelier will gain practical craft skills along with expanding their social circle and earning their own income. Caravane plans to lay a foundation of support that ensures locals with special needs find their own role within the community—their own flow in social life through work, empowerment and self-sustainability.
